I found this on the Zildjian myspace page. Thomas Pridgeon Playing Masterworks...... wouldnt that really tick off DW??? being on a video all over myspace...... what do u recon ppl? thoughts? theorys? legalities?

hes too much of a god i dont think any1 would care haha
in sayin that, im sure he wouldent have done the zildjian gig just becuase he couldent get a dw there. its obviously a loan kit

It's just a video of Thomas when he visited the Zildjian Factory. Not a loan kit or anything, it's just the kit Zildjian has set up in their show-room!

He could get a huge endorsement from any company he wanted, I don't think DW getting mad would hinder him at all. Plus, its probably not even his kit.

Did anyone else notice that that playing was terrible? Dont get me wrong, I'm a fan, but that was horrid to listen to.

what i also noticed was that the masterworks has bass drum mounted toms, something that pridgeon also has on his DW... says he prefers them... also looks like the same shell configuration he usually uses...
unfortunately i still also think its a coincidence......

I think it's a little over the top to say his playing is "terrible," but I am not really all that impressed with the drum sound. Perhaps it's just the acoustics in the open showroom, but I expected more out of the masterworks. Anybody?

Agreed^. Floor sounded pretty nice but the racks were pretty horrid. Seemed that they were tuned very high for my liking
