This has to be a fake user. This kid is 19 and is this dumb, I doubt it's for real.
Ignorant, maybe. But don't hate on 19 year olds, man.

It would have to simply coincidence. Drummers have their personal preferences, so to each their own.

I'm not hating on the age, especially since I'm 20. I was just shocked that someone of that age could be so dumb.

You know, ignorant and dumb have two different meanings.

Wondering why my favorite players play a certain brand of cymbal does not make me dumb. Its not all just endorsements. Dimebag Darrell played Dean guitars far before they ever endorsed him. He liked them for their sound, playability, and other things. It only makes sense that the same will apply to many drummers and their equipment.

Being ignorant about cymbals does not make me dumb. Being an ******* to someone just to make yourself feel better makes YOU look like the dumb one.

I've felt better about myself long before you made this dumb thread.

It's not ALL endorsements, buttface. It's also personal preference, which you don't understand at all. I'm done trying to explain this to you because you don't get it. I answered your idiotic question for you, and you still feel you it's not a coincidence which it IS! There are thousands of metal drummers out there and it's just a coincidence that drummers in bands you listen to play Sabian. There is no reason as to why Sabians are good for metal, some drummers just like the sound.

k, lets start with the simple fact that there are far more drummers of ANY genre of music that play zildjian.

Sabian does make some darn good cymbals, I love them myself, but you would have to be very dumb to think that there are more metal players using sabian than zildjian. It has nothing to do with endorsements at all, I know that just as well as anyone on this forum because once you get to a specific point in drumming, any company would jump at the oportunity to endorse you so it has everything to do with preference.

lets have a look at the possible drummers you listen to:

Michael Moose Thomas ( zildjian )
Ray Luzier ( Sabian )
Jimmy Sulivan ( Sabian )
Johnny Kelly ( Sabian )
Shawn Drover ( Sabian )
Mike Wengren ( Sabian )
Vinnie Paul ( Sabian )

I'm not saying that those drummers are bad, just that they're probably ones you listen to.

asking US why all of YOUR favorite metal drummers is a stupid question. You know far more about yourself than we ever will, or want to know.

Personal Preferance i suppose. I've seen a lot of metal drummers using Zildjian and Paiste cymbals too.
