Chestnut fade would be my first pic then Diamond sparkle probably next, although I don't see it as offered right now. It used to be in stock ready to ship in all sizes you could ask for. That must have ended.

IMO Chestnut fade is the best MCX finish

It all comes down to your own preference mate!

I don't like any of the finished the MCX offers, but if I had to choose, I'd go with the Chestnut Fade.

I just got my Masters MCX drum kit not to long ago. I waited for several months to get mine so I know how frustrating it can be. I got the chestnut fade. I must say it was worth the wait. It was the only finish i really wanted. Good luck on your wait time.Hope you get them soon.

I would have to say "chestnut fade". Having seen and felt the bubbles and air pockets on wrapped finishes on some of the MCX series drums, there's no way I would purchase one, unless Pearl got their act together and started to actually glue or use adhesive to affix the wrap completely to the shells. Just one of my pet peeves with the MCX series, actually my only one. I think the drums sound very nice.

First choice: Chestnut Fade (It looks like it's worth the wait.)

Second choice: Black Sparkle Fade
