Nobody does a better job with chrome wraps than Pearl. The kit they did for Eric Singer was killer. Nothing like it under bright, white lights. I wonder if that is an extra cost with MW? I also would like to see a copper or brass wrap if Pearl has ever done these on a full set. Also of interest would be the effect on the sound of the drums with these wraps.

The kit we did for Eric was a re-wrap of his MMX kit. Tony re-cut the shells to 12x8 and 13x8 depths and re-did the edges. Eric used it as a single kick drum on the KISS 2004 ROCK THE NATION SUMMER Tour and with two kick drums with Alice Cooper.

Al,

I saw Eric play this set when Alice opened for the Rolling Stones in Louisville Ky.at Churchill Downs. As you can imagine, the stage and lighting were off the charts and this set all but jumped off the stage when the lights hit it. Wet and cold, but a great, great show.

Thanks for getting back and for the picture.

Wow, he really likes stright stands...

That kit looks amazing. It could do without them resos however.. HE. HE.

He is rocking the ddrum triggers! Why doesnt pearl make triggers like ddrum, I bet they would sell very well, if done right. Heavy duty, like the ddrum pro triggers.

I guess if you work for Alice, you put whatever he wants on your drums. The resos didn't bother me. I didn't give them much thought. I used to play with everything straight
like in this picture. I don't anymore. I like a little angle.

I guess drums are like life, "A MATTER OF TIMING AND ANGLES".
