I agree, but the cymbals just look stunning. BLOODY nice! HE HE... That kit would look ssssssssweet with black pies! Heck, even white! I would like to see a green kit with green customs, a blue with blue customs, red with red, and white with white..... YUMMY! To bad colorsounds dont sound as good as normal pies.

Hey ROMAN, thanks for moving the pics to this thread. I should have done that the first time. Thanks also for the rep.
The cymbals and drums don't match, for sure. I hardly play those cymbals coz they don't sound too good, compared to my Signatures or Visions. I collected the red Colorsounds for nostalgic reasons. I wasn't old enough in the 80's to afford Colorsounds and I'd just started playing the drums, but I loved Colorsounds, and the 80's for that matter ![]() So this collection helps me deal with the loss of being born 10 years too late. |

Those are friggin sweet!!!!!!!! I would love to have a set of red Signature cymbals, all in power models (Power Ride, Power Crashes, Heavy Chinas, Sound Edge Hi Hats, Power Hi Hats and custom Power Splashes) and a red sparkle Masterworks Kit!! That would make me go back to the 80's everytime I play. Reminds me of Tommy Lee and those two big red colorsound chinas he had back in the day.
NICE!

![]() Ahhh... Yes, that sounds dreamy! Like Servant000 said, them normal 2000 CSs dont sound all that good. That's mainly because he has lighter stuff. If you get heavy weight colorsounds, they sound much better. That's why I only go with rudes for coated stuff. Not even the sig powers would be heavy enough. It's extra heavy or nothing for me (when playing colorsounds).

[QUOTE=ROMAN;1853420492]Again, NICE! Can you do me (us) a HUGE favor? Please post pics of your visions as well? What all visions do you have? You sound like a serious paiste man, me likes that!!! I want to rep you again! DAM!!!
![]() Another rep?? Thanks ROMAN! Sure, I'll post pics of my Visions setup later tonite. You are right, I normally play Paiste's lighter cymbals. The Visions I have are : 10" Splash 14" Thin Crash ( which sounds like crap ) 16" Crash 16" Colorsound 5 Crash ( black ) 18" Crash 20" Crash 18" Thin China 20" Full Ride However, to my ears only the splash, thin china and ride sound decent. The crashes just don't quite cut it. The 18" crash is ok though. I am definately a Paiste guy, but I'm not a serious collector. I lost that passion a few years ago after I got married and had kids. It just didn't seem that important anymore ![]() My other pies are : Singatures : 13" Dark Crisp Hi-Hats 14" Heavy Hi-Hats 14" 2000 Reflector Sound Edge Bottom 16" Full Crash 21" Silver Mellow Ride Zildjian : 18" K Custom Dark Crash 15" K Custom Dark Crash |

![]() Looking sexy as hell! I love the look of black cymbals. Too bad they sound not as good... I had many visions as well, including that 14 crash and 15 thin crash. Both sucked. I had the full ride, and thought it worked fine, the 14 heavy hats are nice, the 10 and 12 splashes sucked major, the 18 thin china was okay. Anyway, thanks for that! Also, thanks for the music compliment. We are actually going heavier/faster. We played a show with Whitechapel and found that we lacked serious heaviness. So, more blast beats, faster double bass, more break downs, etc... We already have a new song worked out, it sounds dam heavy! With my customs due in very, very soon (they shipped to me today!), I will be taking my rude 21 power bell ride into the studio to do some more work. Keep checking back, tell me what you think of the new stuff in a few weeks. Again, thanks for posting them pics! SOOOOO NICE! ![]() PS Yes, I do enjoy recording. I just hate when my band mates record me on video while I am doing it. I am goffy, so it's all good.
