thats more money than I have ever made at one show....hell thats probably more money than the 48 shows I've played in my life! <<not really though. lol

My band was screwed out of so much money during its existence, but we didn't let it bother us that much.

That's exactly when I quit playing the clubs, for that exact reason. We would play for the door at most of our gigs, one in particular was a serious money-maker for us (4-5k for the weekend) once a month. We had a great light show, super nice equipment, a great front man and a killer set-list. All of the sudden, none of that mattered anymore.
